The Dollar Desk is an online space where I share affordable,
bite-sized resources designed to support intentional living,
teaching, parenting, and personal well-being. Everything here comes
from my lived experiences as an educator, mom, bonus mom, and
lifelong learner.
Who is behind The Dollar Desk?
Hi! I'm Dr. Nefertiti Poyner — a 30-year veteran educator who
started in the classroom and has spent my career helping others
grow. I believe in slowing down, reflecting, and taking in
information in manageable, meaningful ways.
Who are the resources for?
They're designed for parents, educators, caregivers, and anyone
looking to make small but powerful changes in their daily routines,
mindset, and connections with others.
Why is it called "The Dollar Desk"?
I love the creativity, possibility, and accessibility of a dollar
store — and I wanted to bring that same spirit to intentional
living. Each resource is meant to be affordable, approachable, and
immediately useful.
How do I use the downloads?
Each download is designed to be simple to print or view digitally.
Many come with a short video walkthrough to guide you on how to get
the most out of it.
How often do you add new resources?
I update The Dollar Desk at the first of every month with fresh
tools in each category, so be sure to check back often or join my
email list to get updates.
Do you offer group or organization licensing?
Yes. If you'd like to use The Dollar Desk resources for a school,
training, or group event, contact me to discuss bulk download or
licensing options.
How will I receive my purchase?
All resources at The Dollar Desk are digital downloads. Once you
complete your purchase, you'll receive a link to download your files
instantly. No physical products will be shipped or mailed.
Can I get a refund if I download the wrong item or change my
mind?
Because all products are digital and instantly accessible, we do not
offer refunds. Please read the descriptions carefully before
purchasing. If you have questions before you buy, feel free to reach
out.
Are these resources meant to treat or diagnose mental health
issues?
No. The downloads provided are not designed to diagnose, treat, or
replace care for any mental health condition. They are wellness and
self-help tools meant to support intentional living, not to serve as
clinical interventions. If you or someone you know needs mental
health support, we strongly encourage you to seek help from a
licensed professional.
Can I share these downloads with others?
Each purchase is for personal or single-use only. If you'd like to
use the resources for a group or training, please contact us to
request a multi-use or site license.
I have an idea for a download I need. Can I request it?
Absolutely. We love creating resources that meet real needs. Send us
a message with your idea—we just might bring it to life and make it
available to others, too.
